Soldering

During the die casting process, intermetallic compounds are generated between the aluminum alloy - the material of melt, and steel – the material of the mold, and as resistance increases during the ejection of product, soldering defects may occur. AnyCasting predicts the area at risk of soldering defects by calculating the mold release resistance value considering the mold surface treatment used to prevent soldering in the process.

Product Name : HOTER HOUSING Melt Material : ADC12 (JIS)

Product Name : HOTER HOUSING

Melt Material : ADC12 (JIS)

  • Reliable analysis due to comparing experimental data with simulation data
  • Able to analyze soldering sensitivity considering the type of surface treatment used (Nitride, PVD)
  • Easily identify high defect areas by observing the results shown on the mold surface

Mold Erosion

In the High Pressure Die Casting process, fast filling speed has a great influence on the mold life. Mold erosion can occur due to the high temperature of the melt, fast filling speed, mold shape, and due to the nature of the High Pressure Die Casting process that repeats tens of thousands of times. Therefore, the prediction of mold erosion area can greatly help in design changes before producing the actual product.

Product Name : HOTER HOUSING Melt Material : ADC12 (JIS)

Product Name : TRANSMISSION CASE

Melt Material : ADC12 (JIS)

  • Predicted by considering the velocity, temperature of melt, and the angle of filling at the gate
  • Results can be expressed in molds and products
  • Used to change runner design or optimize filling conditions
